My first day at work

Thanks to everyone who cared enough about how my 1st day went. All the spoken and unspoken concern made me felt rather doted on, like a little kid on my first day to school. Maybe it's because yesterday was chillun's day! Happy belated to you!


Right beside where I sit in office, there is a shelf of different flavours of potato chips!


So great right. :) I finished one bottle of original-flavoured Mr Potato chips during tea time. Result is 4 new pimples this morning.


There are so many different brands of coffee/ tea/ chips lying on shelves all around office. Funny how not everyone is XXXL size or pimply face. Maybe not everyone is a glutton like me. I was actually quite worried whether the company allows staff to eat only our own products, but turned out that it's unfounded.


I remember when my good friend Wencong was doing his internship at BAT, he told me one of the perks of working there was, cigarettes were free for all. Considering how the cigarette is a basic necessity in some people's life, I think it only makes sense why many people want to work for the company. Chips and coffee (I took 3 sachets of 3-in-1s yesterday) are good enough to satisfy me, wahaha. I go into the company weighing 48kg. See how heavy I turn out in a month's time. (I don't think I'll grow taller...)


Very blur at work on my first day lah. Pretended to be zai and cool. The more I tried, the worse I got. Hurhur. Tough life ahead.
