Happy Mid Autumn Festival

It's one of my favourite festivals of the year!

No playing with candles this year, nor asking anyone to buy me paper lanterns. I ate half a mooncake after dinner, served with camomile, how odd. Tomorrow, my mum will probably take the pomelo down from the family altar, and I can plop the funny pulps into my mouth. I hope it's sweet.

I bumped around all night yakking away, feeling quite happy, for I have resolved what has been weighing on my mind. Looking forward to new job on Friday. With next 2 days free (unexpectedly!), Rene arranged to go shopping for our Kinabalu trip on Thursday. Going shopping with mum tomorrow evening too, because we have a $20 Robinsons voucher. (I like that irony of spending more than $100 on things you will otherwise NOT buy, so that you can gleefully think you "save" $20. Suckers, really!)

Dug out my digital photos from last year's Mid Autumn Festival. Was in Shanghai then, and played with candles and lantern courtesy of BBITW.
